The EG Square Beaker (EG-07) is a 14-inch, 7 mm thick borosilicate beaker bong designed as a durable, premium daily piece for smoke shops and distributors. At around 990 g, it offers a noticeably heavy, stable feel both on the shelf and in the hand.
The tube features EG’s “Square” pattern in sandblast relief – the background is frosted while the square motifs stand out in clearer, raised glass. This creates a three-dimensional, tactile finish that looks and feels higher-end than simple printed graphics. Each unit is supplied with an 18 mm downstem and 14 mm bowl, ready to sell as a complete beaker set.
Benefits for Retail Clients
- Clear premium step above basic beakers
Easy talking point for staff:
“14″, 7 mm Square Beaker with sandblast relief tube, 18/14 mm set-up, multiple colors.” - High perceived value, simple function
Customers get a familiar, easy-to-use beaker with premium thickness and detailed relief artwork—no complicated recycler to explain. - Strong visual consistency in a series
Fits perfectly into an EG 7 mm Sandblast Collection alongside Symbols, Triangle, Skull Flower, Slyme Leaf, etc., or can stand alone as a feature design per color. - Better reliability for daily use
7 mm tubing and a thick base cope better with everyday handling than thin-wall glass, helping to reduce breakage-related complaints. - Suitable for independents and chain buyers
Simple specification, recognisable pattern, and several colorways make it straightforward to list in catalogues and roll out across multiple locations.
Usage & Care Recommendations
Usage
- Fill the beaker until the downstem slits are just submerged; overfilling increases drag and can push water towards the neck.
- Place the piece on a flat, stable surface, away from shelf or counter edges; it is heavy and stable, but a fall from height can still break glass.
- Use only correct 18 mm downstems and 14 mm bowls; forcing mismatched joints can chip or crack the ground-glass connections.
- Recommend steady, controlled pulls so the water and beaker volume can do the cooling work rather than users “chugging” the piece.
Care & Maintenance
- Allow the glass to cool naturally before cleaning; avoid sudden hot–cold changes that could stress the material.
- For everyday care, empty the old water and rinse with warm water after use.
- For deeper cleaning, soak with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt (or a glass-safe cleaner), shake gently, and rinse thoroughly.
- On the sandblast relief Square area, avoid aggressive scrubbing with abrasive pads; rely on soaking and a soft cloth so the frosted background and raised squares stay crisp.
- Let the beaker dry completely before returning it to display or packing it into cartons to prevent odour, water lines, and mineral spotting.
