The EG Triangle Beaker (EG-04) is a 14-inch, 7 mm thick borosilicate beaker built as a long-term, premium option for smoke shops and distributors. At approx. 990 g, it has real weight and a very stable footprint, giving customers that “heavy-duty” feel straight away.
The tube features EG’s “Triangle” pattern in sandblast relief – the background is frosted while the triangle motifs stand out in clearer, raised glass. This creates a three-dimensional, tactile surface that looks and feels far more premium than printed graphics. Supplied with an 18 mm downstem and 14 mm bowl, it is ready to sell as a complete, higher-value beaker set.
Benefits for Your Smoke Shop
- Clear premium upgrade position
Easy staff script:
“14″, 7 mm Triangle Beaker with sandblast relief tube, 18/14 mm set-up, multiple colors.”
That places it clearly above generic clear beakers. - High perceived value with low complexity
Customers get a familiar beaker layout plus premium thickness and artwork – no complicated recycler to explain or service. - Strong merchandising flexibility
Can anchor an “EG 7 mm Sandblast Collection” shelf together with Symbols, Cross, Clock, etc., or stand alone as a feature beaker in each color. - Better long-term reliability
7 mm walls and a thick base handle normal knocks and repeated handling better than thin-wall glass, reducing complaints and returns. - Suitable for independents and chains
Simple spec, unified Triangle design, and several color options make it easy to standardise in buying programmes across multiple locations.
Usage & Care Recommendations
Usage
- Fill the beaker until the downstem slits are just submerged; too much water increases drag and can send water towards the neck.
- Always place the bong on a flat, stable surface, away from the edge of counters or shelves – the piece is heavy and stable, but a fall from height can still break it.
- Use only correct 18 mm downstems and 14 mm bowls; forcing the wrong joint size can chip or crack the ground-glass areas.
- Recommend steady, controlled pulls so the beaker volume can cool the smoke properly instead of users “chugging” the piece.
Care & Maintenance
- Let the glass cool naturally before cleaning; avoid extreme hot–cold changes that may stress the material.
- For routine care, empty old water and rinse with warm water after use.
- For deeper cleaning, soak with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt (or a glass-safe cleaner), then shake gently and rinse thoroughly.
- On the sandblast relief Triangle area, avoid aggressive scrubbing with abrasive pads; rely on soaking and a soft cloth to keep the frosted background and raised triangles sharp and clean.
- Allow the beaker to dry completely before returning it to display or repacking into cartons to prevent odour, water lines, and mineral spots.
Display & Retail Tips
- Group all colorways together under a simple card, for example:
“EG Triangle Beaker – 14″ • 7 mm • Sandblast Relief Tube • 18/14 mm • EG-04.” - Use side or top lighting so the relief pattern and color accents stand out clearly.
- Place compatible ash catchers, spare bowls, and cleaners nearby, and train staff to push bundle deals (beaker + ash catcher + cleaner) to increase average ticket size.
